I think I would be less likely to click on a stranger’s fic, too, unless the summary or title really stood out to me. But I do have a lot of followers who read fic and already follow the fandoms I’m currently writing in, so *shrug*, maybe it will help since so many have moved away from LJ.
I may stop posting my fic at LJ entirely (other than a link to AO3). This summer it seems AO3 is growing as the go-to place for fic, especially after the ff.net purge of 2012.
